Thanks for sharing your birth story, Susannah! Yes, I read the gory details. I'm so fascinated by birth and think it's so important that women keep sharing their stories. I'm so glad that you and Dan had the support of a doula, the knowledge to communicate your needs to your practitioners, and, that you had a safe, albeit painful (!) birth.
